1. History and presentation

MVD Training is a training provider founded in 2009 and located in Haute-Garonne, France. It specializes in AMD technologies, formerly Xilinx: FPGAs, embedded systems, SoCs, MPSoCs, RFSoCs, Versal adaptive platforms and associated development tools.

MVD Training provides technical courses, expert services and consulting assignments throughout France for teams that design, integrate or maintain AMD/Xilinx solutions.

Depending on their format, courses may be adapted to attendee level and the company's technical context. They combine theoretical input, demonstrations, hands-on labs and exchanges with the trainer.

2. Locations and delivery arrangements

MVD Training's head office is located at 993 Route du Fousseret, 31430 Castelnau Picampeau, France.

The inter-company courses offered in the catalog are mainly delivered remotely. In-company courses can be organized remotely or face-to-face at the customer's premises.

When a course is organized at a customer site, trainees must comply with the access, hygiene and safety rules applicable at the host location.

3. Training information

The objectives, program, prerequisites, duration, schedule and assessment arrangements are stated in the training program and in the invitation sent before the session.

During the course, you follow the schedule indicated on your invitation. A lunch break of about one hour and other short breaks are planned during the day.

Participation in all planned sequences and assessments is necessary for the course to run smoothly. Attendance is recorded according to the arrangements communicated before the session.

Mobile phones must be set to silent mode during training hours unless expressly agreed by the trainer. In case of absence, delay or connection difficulty, please inform the trainer or administrative manager as soon as possible.

For inter-company courses, registration is possible subject to available places and compliance with the deadline stated during pre-registration.

For in-company or custom courses, the estimated access time is two months from the request, subject to needs analysis, trainer availability and contractual agreement.

4. Trainee rights and duties

The trainee must read and comply with the internal rules applicable to the training location. Each trainee must respect professional discretion, inside and outside the organization.

Each trainee must respect hygiene, civility and proper use of the equipment provided. Each trainee is encouraged to take an active part in discussions and hands-on labs in order to support the achievement of learning objectives.

Training materials, exercises, practical-lab files and technical access provided during the course are reserved for participants. They must not be distributed, reproduced or transferred to third parties without permission.

Credentials for videoconferencing tools and practical-lab workstations are personal. Audio or video recording, screenshots and photographs of the session are not permitted without prior agreement.

5. Safety rules

When a course is organized face-to-face, trainees must comply with the hygiene, safety, access and evacuation instructions applicable at the host location.

Any accident or incident occurring during the course must be reported immediately to the trainer and the person responsible for the host location.

During remote training, each trainee remains subject to the safety rules applicable at their connection location and must use IT equipment in accordance with the instructions provided.

7. Accessibility and adaptation needs

Anyone facing a difficulty that may affect their participation in training is invited to contact the disability contact as early as possible.

Needs are reviewed with the person concerned to identify adaptations that can be implemented. When MVD Training cannot directly meet an identified need, referral to a suitable contact or support arrangement may be proposed.

The information provided is handled discreetly and only to the extent necessary to assess and implement adaptations.

8. Remote training appendix

Remote courses use Webex for videoconferencing and RealVNC to access practical-lab workstations when required.

To follow the course under suitable conditions, trainees need a stable Internet connection, a computer capable of running Webex, a headset or earphones with a microphone, sufficient rights to install or run the required software, and RealVNC Viewer when access to practical-lab workstations is planned.

A second screen is recommended to follow the trainer's explanations and practical work at the same time. Connection links and any credentials are sent before the session. In case of technical difficulty, trainees must contact the trainer as soon as possible.

Workstations accessed through RealVNC are reserved for activities planned as part of the course. Installing unauthorized software, changing their configuration or extracting data from them is prohibited without the trainer's agreement.

9. Reporting and handling dissatisfaction

Anyone who has attended a course, or who represents the customer company, may report a difficulty or express dissatisfaction concerning the organization, delivery or follow-up of the service.

The request may be sent to Sylvie Bonafous at: sylvie.bonafous@mvd-training.com.

To enable an accurate analysis of the situation, it is recommended to state:

  • the name of the person concerned;
  • the company represented, where applicable;
  • the title and dates of the course;
  • the facts or difficulties encountered;
  • any exchanges already made;
  • the expected response or improvement.

The request is recorded and analyzed to identify the facts, possible causes and actions that may be implemented. A response is given to the person concerned, and useful lessons are incorporated into MVD Training's continuous-improvement approach.
